'Place of Worship'
Utilising skills developed at Brainstorm; I wanted to further combine my worldbuilding and lighting skills to produce a new project. A speedy design session resulted in the concept of a unique holy church, doubling as a gentleman's club.
The driving form for the project was the pill (or filleted rectangle), with the colour of the pieces selling the mood of the spaces.
Interior.
I wanted to showcase a section of the interior, using dramatic lighting to highlight the dancer on the stage; with a priest sat front row.
Night/Rear.
The southern facade of the church acts as the priory entrance for the gentleman's club; the bold colours adding a greater sense of danger and sleaze.
